Is this the official authority?+
No. zulassungsautomat.de is a private service by Gabal e.K. (HRA 6314) that handles the registration for you – conveniently from home. The authorities also run their own i-Kfz online portal; it requires an eID-enabled German ID card with the online function activated plus its PIN, and the AusweisApp with a smartphone or card reader. That is exactly what we take off your hands: with us there is no eID and no AusweisApp involved.
How long does registration take?+
Immediate in many cases; in some cases the authority's processing takes a few working days. You follow every step live in your order.
Which documents do I need?+
Registration certificate Part I (Fahrzeugschein) and Part II (Fahrzeugbrief), ID card and an eVB number from your insurer. For new cars also the CoC certificate.
